Products with Best Before: 19th Nov 13 have been withdrawn from Boots stores. The product packaging incorrectly contains Caramel Shortbread which contains MILK which is not declared on the packaging. The product is therefore unsuitable for anyone with an allergy to milk.
If you have bought this product you can return it to your local store for a full refund.

 

 

 

***PACKS OF GROUND ALMONDS WITHDRAWN AND RECALLED***
Packs of Whitworths Ground Almonds and Sainsbury’s Ground Almonds have been withdrawn from sale, and packs of Tesco Ground Almonds have been recalled from customers because the products contain traces of peanut, which is not mentioned on any of the product labels. This means the products are a possible health risk to anyone with an allergy to peanuts.
The following products have been withdrawn from sale or recalled from customers.
Whitworths

Pack sizes: 100g, 150g and 1kg
‘Best before’ date: all date codes

No other Whitworths Ltd products are known to be affected.
Sainsbury's
